FAQs
Questions we get asked before the first call.
If yours is not here, ask it on the call, or put it in the form above.
- What kind of businesses do you work with?
- Growing service businesses, manufacturers, professional firms, MSPs and portfolio companies. Usually somewhere between 10 and 300 people, and usually at the point where the process has outgrown the spreadsheets holding it together.
- How does an engagement start?
- With a discovery call. We ask what is happening, what it costs you and what you have already tried. If it looks worth pursuing, we propose a short scan stage before any build work, so you get a written picture of the process before you commit to a project.
- Do you replace our existing tools?
- Rarely, and never as a first move. Most of the value in our API integration services comes from connecting what you already pay for and retiring only the tools that genuinely duplicate another one. Replacing a working system has to earn its place.
- Where does AI actually fit?
- Where reading, drafting or classifying is the bottleneck: documents, enquiries, tickets, reports, WhatsApp replies. Business process automation usually handles the routing and the record-keeping, CRM automation keeps the system honest, and AI handles the judgement-free reading and writing. We ship it in draft-only mode first, with a human approving what goes out.
- How long before we see something working?
- The first working release is usually weeks away, not quarters. We deliberately keep the first project small enough to prove value before anyone commits to a larger build.
- What happens after launch?
- You get documentation, monitoring and a support path. Many clients keep a light ongoing arrangement for improvements; others take the handover material and run it in-house. Both are fine by us.
